AN OPEN invitation is extended to the good people of Stroud to join in Oakridge Parochial School’s traditional Medieval Revels on the village green on Saturday.

The revelry, organised by the Oakridge School Association in aid of school funds, begins at 1pm when children from the school will put on a display of medieval dancing, which is followed by the crowning of the Oakridge king and queen.

The fun continues until 4pm, and stalls will be available to browse, including books, plants, jewellery, tombola and raffle.

There will also be live music, games and activities including archery and a bouncy castle, and refreshments including a barbecue, licensed bar, and tea and cakes.
