SHEEP will race through Frampton as part of a family fun evening this Saturday, September 20.

The event will be held in the stunning surroundings of Frampton Court with a flock of sheep, a large marquee and live music for all the family.

Following the success of the first ever event in 2013, sheep racing is back by popular demand.

Featuring eight sheep races, a barbecue, bar, tote, live music and race commentary from BBC Radio Gloucestershire’s Anna King, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Founded and organised by a group of dedicated villagers from Frampton on Severn, the event has already raised several thousand pounds for local community causes.

This year, each sheep race has been donated to a local organisation, which will be able to put all the funds they raise towards their own cause.

Entry is free and gates open from 4pm, with the first race starting at 5pm.

Pedestrian access is available from the Green, with vehicle access signposted off the Perry Way.
