Members of Organized Kaos street dance crew based in Wotton-under-Edge travelled to Essex this week to train with Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity.

Organized Kaos features 11 young performers from local street dance school, New Generation Dance.

The 13 to 16 year old crew, who won Wotton’s Got Talent in 2013, can often be seen performing at fetes and events in the area and regularly win trophies at local and national competitions.

You can see the routine they learned from Diversity at the New Generation Dance Show on Saturday, October 4, where they will be performing alongside nearly 100 other dancers ranging in age from three to those above 50.

There will be two performances at the Armstrong Hall, in Thornbury, at 2pm and 7pm, with tickets available on the door.

Founder of New Generation Dance Sarah-Jane Wilcox said: “Diversity were the nicest bunch of teachers I’ve ever come across. I’ve never seen my crew smile so much.”

Youngest crew member, 13-year-old Dylan Harvey, of Wotton-under-Edge, said: “It was amazing to meet members of Diversity and visit their dance studio. They were really good teachers.”

New Generation Dance are always looking for new members. You can find out more about how to get involved via Facebook or their website at: www.newgenerationdance.co.uk.
