POLICE are investigating the theft of a cash machine on High Street in Moreton- in-Marsh early this morning, Monday.
Shortly before 2am police were called after a yellow 'Caterpillar' telescopic loader was seen on fire outside a store in High Street.
It is believed it was used to steal an ATM from the store, which caused a considerable sized hole in the wall of the building.
The thief or thieves then departed the scene with the ATM.
Fire crews were also called to extinguish the fire.
Detectives are investigating the incident and are asking any who saw or heard anything suspicious, or who saw a white van leaving the scene around this time, to call them on 101 quoting incident number 029 of November 17.
