NEARLY 100 shoeboxes full of festive cheer will be helping children in need celebrate Christmas this year thanks to pupils, parents and staff at Bussage Primary School.
Shoeboxes filled with toys, stationery supplies, sweets, toiletries and warm hats, gloves and scarves have been collected.
They will be distributed to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child.
The project is run by the organisation Samaritan’s Purse which distributes the boxes in time for Christmas.

The charity asked for boxes to be filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items such as a toothbrush and toothpaste and other items such as a hat, gloves, scarf or hair accessories.
