Sarah holds party fundraiser to honour Grandparents
INSTEAD of celebrating her 30th birthday Sarah Miller from Stonehouse is hosting a charity fundraiser “to celebrate life” after her Grandfather died from cancer and her Grandmother was diagnosed with dementia.
Proceeds will go towards the Cotswolds Care Hospice and to the Alzimers Society.
The party on Saturday, January 31 will take place at the Globe Inn, Stonehouse with friends and family.
“I want to make it a new memory for my Nan,” said Sarah.
Instead of giving presents Sarah is asking for donations to the two charities and for local businesses to contribute raffle prizes.
