GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police are appealing for information following a theft from a supermarket in Cheltenham.
On November 19 at around 2.00pm, a young woman requested £20 cashback after using the self-service tills at a supermarket in Hatherley, Cheltenham.
While carrying out the transaction she was distracted by her young child who was unwell and when she returned to the till the £20 was missing from the delivery slot.
The woman questioned a man who was standing behind her in the queue who said he hadn't seen the money.
The supermarket have supplied CCTV footage of the incident and Gloucestershire Constabulary would like to speak to the man seen in the following images.
He has short dark hair and is wearing a distinctive dark blue jacket that people may recognise.
