THIEVES have stolen stole cash from a bungalow in Chalford Hill, Stroud.
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following the burglary in Down View in Stroud on the evening of Wednesday, March 11.
The thieves gained access to the property from a side gate at around 6.30pm and forced open a bedroom window of the bungalow.
They stole cash, jewellery and bank books from a chest of drawers.
When the offenders made their escape they dropped the jewellery, jewellery box and bank books in the garden but got away with the cash. The owner of the bungalow was at home at the time of the burglary but did not see or hear anything.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the offenders in the vicinity of the property or who has any further information to call 101 quoting incident number 483 of 11 March 2015.
