A MINUTE’S silence will be held today at noon to remember the 38 victims of the Tunisia beach attack last Friday.
The flag at District Council building at Ebley Mill in Stroud will be flown at half-mast as a sign of respect for the 30 British tourists who died in the gun massacre on the beach in Sousse.
The Queen and Prime Minister David Cameron will join the silence, as flags are flown at half-mast over Whitehall and Buckingham Palace.
There will also be a special ceremony held at the scene of the attack outside the Imperial Marhaba hotel in Sousse.
Local authorities, police forces and schools have been asked to observe the silence at midday.
