NEIL Carmichael MP opened the re-launch of Learndirect, a newly equipped training facility in Stroud on Tuesday, August 25.
The Conservative MP met with David Joyne, business manager, and Claire McGrail, regional customer engagement manager, along with other stakeholders to discuss the work of the centre.
Learndirect aim to upskill people and help them gain sustainable employment.
Neil said: “I was very pleased to meet with learndirect and hear of their work to help people gain skills and sustainable employment – this is a vital provision for those people needing support to enter the workforce.”
Staff at the company told Neil that Learndirect is within the top quarter of organisations placing people into sustainable employment.
