GENEROUS members of the Tea and Chatter group donated items to be sent overseas for children in need.

Volunteers at Samaritan's Purse will pack the items into shoeboxes as part of their Operation Christmas Child project.

The Tea and Chatter group meet up on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Kings Head pub in King's Stanley, supporting different charities at each meeting.

Since they were set up last September, the group has raised money for the erection of a new bench outside the pub, as well as supporting charities including The Royal British Legion and Help a Hedgehog Hospital.

New members are welcome to come along to the next meeting on Wednesday, October 21 for tea, biscuits and chat.
