A DELEGATION of Vietnamese young people will visit Stroud District Council (SDC) tomorrow in the hope of setting up a youth parliament in Vietnam.

They will be accompanied by representatives from the British Council, British Youth Council and the National Assembly.

The party includes four representatives from the emerging Vietnam Youth Parliament - 11 people in total.

Members of Stroud District Youth Council will welcome them at Ebley Mill from 5.15pm-8pm for an informal, interactive reception in the restaurant.

The group are particularly keen to speak to SDC about the ongoing relationship it has with young people and how the voice of young people is heard and subsequently influences, adult decision-making.
