A NEW group for young parents is starting this week at Stroud’s youth project The Door.
Parents aged up to 25 years are welcome to go to the group and meet other young mothers and fathers to get support from youth workers and community family workers.
There will be toys, music, fun and games for the children and parents.
Youth worker Annie said: “We’re really excited for this new group.
“Both myself and Donna, who is a community family worker, were young parents and felt like we wanted to give something back by helping other young parents being able to give them information, support and guidance.”
The group will be held at The Door, 45 High Street in Stroud every Friday between 1pm-2.30pm.
