A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in Cheltenham this morning.

There was a fight between around 10 people, resulting in one man, in his 20s, receiving a stab wound to his buttock.

The incident happened at around 4am on St Paul’s Road.

He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

It is not thought to be life threatening at this time.

The road remains closed whilst enquiries are ongoing.

Nobody has been arrested.

Police are eager to hear from anyone who has information on the incident and urge them to call 101 quoting incident 52 of Saturday 6 February.
