KITES of all shapes and sizes have been sent soaring at a festival on Minchinhampton Common today.
Families made the most of the glorious weather and descended on the common for the annual Minchinhampton Kite Festival organised by the National Trust.
A workshop was also run by White Horse Kite Flyers where enthusiasts made their own kites and learnt flying tips.
Experts and novices alike came along to the fourth year of the popular event, with many families enjoying the day.
