STROUD Fringe takes over the town this bank holiday weekend for its 20th anniversary.
With over 130 different acts performing on seven unique stages over three days and nights - it promises to be the biggest and best year yet.
Both Gloucester Road and Lansdown - up to the Locking Hill junction - will be closed to traffic from noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday the roads will be closed from 10am to midnight.
There will be no parking in Lansdown over the three days. Barriers will be in place to stop vehicles.
The Fringe’s main stage in Bank Gardens lies just off Lansdown, and will be filled with food stalls and festival-goers from Friday morning onwards.
Traffic is expected to be busy around the town and surrounding areas for the duration of the weekend.
Thousands are expected to flock to the free, three-day event to enjoy a jam-packed schedule of music, live performance and street entertainment.
