TWO weeks after balaclava-clad robbers stole thousands of pounds from a pub, police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.

Three masked men broke into the pub in Upton St Leonards, near Painswick, at around 11.50pm on Wednesday, September 7.

Pub manager Aled Griffiths was forced to the floor and made to hand over the keys to the office safe which contained around £4,000.

They also stole spirits from behind the bar - including one bottle of Jack Daniels, one bottle of Southern Comfort and a bottle of vodka - before fleeing the scene.

The raiders were all wearing dark clothing and black balaclavas, of stocky build and had Birmingham or Midlands accents They ranged between the heights of 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 10.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
