A 31-YEAR-OLD Nailsworth motorist was found to be more than twice the legal drink-drive limit when he was stopped by police.

Jesus Travaglini of Spring Hill, Nailsworth, admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates.

He was stopped in his Renault Captur in London Road, Stroud on January 22.

A breath test revealed that he had 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.

Travaglini was banned from driving for 19 months, fined £518 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85.
