HANNAH Wood, who died in the accident at Avening this week, was a beautiful, bright and much loved young mother who will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.

Warm tributes have flooded in since Monday’s accident and two funds have been set up in her memory.

The money raised will go to the thirty-year-old's loving partner-of-eight-years Jon Newman and their four-year-old son Jamie who all lived in Minchinhampton.

Hannah, a care worker at Longridge Court in Stroud, is one of three siblings with an older sister Lucy Skuse and younger brother Charlie Wood, her parents are Chris Wood and Julie Skuse.

Lucy on behalf of the family told the SNJ: “Hannah was a loving daughter, mother, sister and partner to Jon, she meant the world to us all.

“She was the best daughter mother, sister and partner she could be.

“Hannah was outgoing, bubbly, caring, loving and had the best sense of humour.

“Her Job was a support worker for voyage care which she loved.

“She was a fantastic mother to Jamie who she doted on.

“Family was everything to her and she will leave a massive hole in all of our hearts.”

Hannah, 30, was a former pupil of Kingshill School in Cirencester followed by Swindon College, her son Jamie attends Minchinhampton Church of England Primary Academy.

A fellow parent, Sam Jones, whose child attends the same school as Jamie, said: “Such a lovely lady, my heart goes out to the family.

“My son says he will look after Jamie when they go back to school, bless him.”

Close friends Danni Mooney and Emma Guyton sent their best wishes, Danni said: “Hannah you beautiful lady, I can still hardly believe this sad, sad news.

“You will be truly missed, my thoughts are with all those that love you.”

Emma said: “Love to all your family at this sad time you were a very beautiful and bright girl who was so kind and funny and full of life, you will never be forgotten.”

One fund, set up by Adam Scotford, has already raised over £1,800 to either help Hannah’s partner and son financially or so Jon can take Jamie away for a short break.

Another close friend Jemma Pawlyszyn will be running a marathon in August to raise money for Jon and Jamie.

She said: “Hannah was such a lovely kind woman and I cannot believe someone so caring and warm has been taken so suddenly.

"I know there is nothing I can do to bring Hannah back and it's heartbreaking.”

Flowers, cards, and gifts have been laid at the site of the crash on Tetbury Hill and hundreds of people have left their condolences on social media.
