World Book Day 2017 is fast approaching and the SNJ wants to know what you're planning and see your pictures.
Whether you're a teacher or parent frantically working on a costume masterpiece for your youngsters, or a child with a grand idea for something special, we want to know what you'll be doing for this year's event, which is on Thursday, March 2.
We're planning to publish every single picture we receive on our website, with the best then featuring in the paper.
Send us pictures of your in-progress costumes in advance, and the finished outfits on the day, along with the following information:
- The name and age of the child pictured and the school they attend
- The theme of their costume and why, and how long it took to create
- Anything special the youngster is doing to celebrate World Book Day
Email your pictures and details to Michael Purton at michael.purton@newsquest.co.uk
