DRIVING with excess alcohol has cost a motorist £580 and his licence.
Thomas Miller, 35, of Oakridge Lynch, admitted the offences at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday, May 16.
Miller had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
He was stopped while driving his Citroen 2CV at Phoenix Works in Thrupp between October 7 and 8 last year.
Miller was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £180 and must pay £400 costs.
