A 32-YEAR-OLD Stroud man who was driving while more than twice the legal drink-drive limit has been banned from the road for 19 months.
James Ryecroft of Langtoft Road, Stroud admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
He was stopped in his VW Caddy van on Sunday, May 7 at The Camp, Stroud near Bisley and found to have 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Ryecroft was banned from driving for 19 months, fined £285 and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs.
