A 35-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary of the RSPCA shop and Simply Pets veterinary practice in Stroud.
Christopher Armstrong, 35, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of burglary at the RSPCA shop in Lansdown, Stroud between 9.30pm and 10.05pm on Wednesday, July 12.
He was also charged with one count of burglary at Simply Pets veterinary practice also in Landown, Stroud between 9.30pm and 10.05pm on Wednesday, July 12.
He appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to both counts.
Armstrong was given a six month suspended sentence and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.
This was the second incident to happen at the charity shop and vets, the first was on Tuesday, July 11.
That case is still on-going and a man was arrested and released under investigation.
A police spokesman said: "We can't confirm whether it is the same man as the case is active."
