IT will feel hot and humid today with some bright sunny spells for many with the potential for thundery conditions this evening.
The increasing risk of isolated thunderstorms will grow through the afternoon, possibly with hail and strong winds where any thunderstorms occur.
Temperatures will reach a sweltering high of 26 degrees with a low of 18 degrees.
There is a 'yellow warning' in place from 5pm through to 11.55pm today.
This is due to thundery showers which are expected to push north across southern parts of the UK through the evening, perhaps turning more widespread towards midnight.
Although many places won't see these showers, there is a chance of localised flooding of homes, businesses and susceptible roads.
Temperatures will remain warm throughout the night.
