David Drew renames hairdresser

A HAIRDRESSER in Stonehouse has been officially renamed by loyal customer and Stroud MP David Drew.

Hopscotch, in Queen's Road, became Bliss Unisex Hair Salon on Saturday, May 3, after the MP cut a pink ribbon with hair scissors.

Ann Barnes, who has owned the salon for 10 years, said: "I just fancied a change.

"We've had new customers since we re-launched it."

She said she was grateful Mr Drew had come to relaunch the salon.

"It's great - it's really nice of him to come down," She said.

"It always has a chat when he gets his hair done."

She also thanked her three staff and her regular customers for their support.

Mr Drew said: "They keep me looking spick and span and my hair is perfect.

"They're a nice bunch of people."

The salon also does ear piercing, acrylic nails and manicures.
