MADAM - Although I was duly impressed with Neil’s ‘clapping press up act’ on the SNJ’s front page, I am afraid that you have to try a bit harder to prove your true prowess.

I am just thinking of politicians who try to ‘up’ their image.

I can think of Chairman Mao who swam, as an old man, in the waters of the Yangtze to prove his vigour and Putin too who invades countries sometimes but enjoys riding across the Steppes bare-backed and shirtless.

And we have our chap, Tony Blair who helped start two wars.

Just so the Americans would love him.

However before you leave Parliament Neil, I think it would impress us all more than press ups to publicly denounce the NPPF as a disaster which is destroying our countryside.
