MADAM – Here we have a prime example of developers with large amounts of money retaining professional consultants and expensive lawyers to impose unwanted development on vulnerable communities.
The day after our democratically elected councillors rejected this absurd planning application no less than 22 professionally produced CDs were dumped on the desk of Stroud District Council planning officers in support of an appeal.
The vast majority of people in Leonard Stanley and King’s Stanley oppose this planning application by Gladman. Development of Mankley Field immediately opens up the spectre of unwanted development on further sites sprawling across the Cotswolds as far as the eye can see and beyond.
