MADAM – I am Jewish.
Despite the complexities of the Israel/Palestine dispute, I am appalled by the murder of hundreds of innocent people in Gaza by the Israeli government and its soldiers.
The safety and peaceful lives of Gaza residents is no less vital for them than it is for the Israeli people.
It is a war crime and those responsible should face the international court.
The Israeli government’s behaviour is doing itself great harm as it is seen wantonly to kill for its own ends.
We all feel revolted by these murders and by the destruction wrought.
For shame, Israel.
