MADAM – In response to Carol Kambites’ letter (August 6) suggesting that those who would like something more radical than the Labour Party “might want to try the Green Party instead”, may I remind her and your readers that 1,542 people took her advice and voted Green in the 2010 General Election in Stroud and thus helped to replace David Drew with Neil Carmichael as our MP, and to bring in the Conservative led coalition.
Anyone who thinks this is not such a good idea, and I seem to have met quite a few, might want to reconsider their choice for the general election in 2015.
