MADAM - Reference last week’s issue.
I am Kath Gay, daughter of Norman Nation as shown in the picture taken at The Stirrup Cup, Bisley.
I have an original copy of this picture and had sent a copy along with names to a daughter of Esme Restall.
My father is commonly known as Ben; the people identified are correct and I think my father is the only one still alive of those named.
The then-named New Inn had a social club committee that regularly raised money for RNIB and held an annual raffle at Christmas time, my father (if memory serves him correctly) believes that the gentleman stood on the right was probably the local representative of the RNIB when monies raised would have been presented; his name is not known.
I do not think it was a darts or skittles team.
