MADAM - Quality Green brings success to Stroud Bowling Club.
Since a new bowling green was relaid two years ago at Stratford Park, Stroud Bowling Club has gone from strength to strength.
Having to be patient with the new green last year, this year has seen a change in the club's fortunes.
Stroud Ladies won the Corinium League and were runners up in the County 2 rink knockout final.
The ladies triple - Mrs G Hodder, Mrs J Crook and Mrs J Howes were County Champions and went on to represent Glos in the national finals at Lemington, and Mrs J Howes was the County Champion of Champions.
Stroud Men were South Cotswold League Division One Champions, and were County 2 rink knockout winners also.
The Mens pair of John Heathcote and Davie Howes were County Runners Up representing Glos in the national finals and John Heathcote also went to the national finals in the over 55 singles.
Stroud Bowls Club would like to say a big thank you to the Landscape Group for all their hard work this season.
