ON former prime minister Sir John Major’s criticism of Ukip.

Posted by anewone: As we realise that all three major political parties want to remain in the EU forever, there is absolutely no point in voting for any one of them come the general election in 2015.

We must fill that House of Commons with Ukip. It matters not if none have ever governed this country before. according to our very own common law constitution, for Lets face facts here, all those we have elected since 1972 have only obeyed the orders of foreigners, and I understand that, that is absolutely contrary to our very own common law constitution.

Posted by Counterview: Labour were wheeled out to defend the union in Scotland. Now Sir John has been wheeled out to deal with EU and Ukip issues. Do we need a PM any more?

Posted by Whinging Winnie: Hmm is this the same John Major who, when PM, signed away 80 per cent of our decision making to an unelected corrupt institution at Maastricht. I think it is. Frankly he would know all about un-Britishness and nastiness, therefore his views, judgement and opinions have no value to me. Think I will still be giving Ukip my vote.

Posted by chorkyboy: The objective of Ukip is to return our country to self-government by duly elected MPs at Westminster rather than by hordes of foreign MEPs who care nothing for our laws and customs.

What could possibly be considered ‘nasty’ about that? In addition, when we leave the EU we will keep in our own country the huge sums of money we are currently are forced to send across the Channel to the commissars whose accounts have not been passed by their own auditors for some 15 years. Would you buy shares in a company whose auditors could not see where the money was going?

Posted by cairoqueen: They are worried because Ukip are doing what we need them to do and not spouting empty promises.
