MADAM – I spent a very enjoyable Saturday afternoon making a lantern from willow sticks and tissue paper.
What a brilliant idea to have a space in town for making crafts and learning new skills.
Unfortunately the project, as I understand it, was only open for two weeks.
I think a space for learning new crafts is exciting and innovative.
Come on Stroud council, sort out the lease, or the high rents, or whatever it is that is stopping people being creative.
Surely it is better to use this shop space than to leave it depressingly empty?
The idea is so very ‘Stroudie’ and I am sure would attract visitors and shoppers alike.
