MADAM – This week I received yet another glossy large election pamphlet from Neil Carmichael.
We seem to be the sudden recipients of a whole stream of expensively produced material from him.
We hear that large businesses have donated millions to the Conservative Party so that they can swamp marginal constituencies during this election period.
By contrast, all other parties have much smaller funds on which to draw, largely raised by local supporters.
On top of this, Neil seems to be insinuating himself, justified or not, into every photo opportunity he is able to.
I have confidence that voters will see through these attempts to grab the limelight at this late stage and will judge him on the reality of his record over the past five years, for instance his lack of support for small tenant pub landlords.
Time for a change.
