I AM a resident of Amberley.
I also own a dog which I regularly walk on Minchinhampton common.
I have noticed for sometime now how other dog owners who walk their dogs treat the common and its surroundings.
It was brought to all dog owners' attention that if their dog fouls on the common, it would be appropriate to dispose of these deeds.
However, some dog owners decided to dispose of the doggy bags by throwing them into the bushes, which you can find in several places. These people are totally irresponsible, they obviously have no regard for the surrounding area.
It is the view of many that these people should be reported.
I believe that some people have been approached by the dog wardens ref the deposit of dog litter.
You cannot always be sure where your dog fouls, but my feeling is that if a number of disposal points are erected, particularly in the Beaudesert school, Golfing/ Lodge area, these disgusting people would use them instead of depositing them in the bushes.
