I WOULD like to say on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law, Hayley and Mark Bridges, a big thank you for all the support we had at the Pairs Skittles for the charity British Heart Foundation.
£400 was raised and the event of skittles was won by Laura and Ashley Winder who received a bottle of champagne and a trophy each.
Well done to them and to Paul Strafford for the use of Matchplay, as well as a donation of a snooker cue and case to the raffle.
Also a big thank you to all the sponsors who donated a wide variety of prizes: They were gym passes from Fifth Dimension, two family passes to Go Bananas, a wine tasting course (Majestic Wine), bowling at Stroud Bowl, haircut and blow-dry (Ice Hair), tattoo voucher £50 (Dean), five paintballing vouchers for 10 people, two children’s tickets for Slimbridge WWT, 12 cupcakes (Juls cakes), three free sittings for Pixie Shoot, family pass for Jump (Bristol), cue and case (Paul Stafford), £25 voucher for Harvester Hampers (Hayley and Dean), £50 Iceland vouchers, two tokens for Cattle Country, £30 voucher for Eds Diner, one Bristol family ticket for Clifton photography worth £179, free car service at Tyre Right (John and Kerry Blackwell), £5 gift voucher (Wilko), two hanging baskets (Tesco), £20 tattoo voucher (Q’s tattoos), champagne.
The most valuable lot, the Clifton photo shoot, was auctioned off and bought for £60 by Pete and Crissie Soreen, it was a very enjoyable evening and once again a big thank you to everyone involved
