AFTER the meeting by Nailsworth Town Council re: getting the bus routes around Norton Wood, reinstated, it seems that someone in 'high office' in Stagecoach ('greener, smarter travel,' it states that on the front of their timetables), has decided to punish the residents of Norton Wood and Upper Forest Green.
They have changed, by changing the timings of the early morning buses, so that people wanting to go on the number 63 service to Woodchester, Stroud etc, have now got to leave home 30 minutes earlier than they have been used to.
It's that or take a chance on the next service, and being late for work if you have a 8.30am start.
If you need to get the 7.47am service from Nailsworth, then you will have to walk to Nailsworth from Forest Green: just what you need if it is pouring down with rain.
I doubt if anyone in connection with Stagecoach will bother to read this, or if they do, I doubt that a satisfactory explanation will be forthcoming.
