WITH the election done and dusted, the cries of foul play were to be expected from the minority parties and we were not disappointed.
The assessment of Gerald Hartley and the adroit manner he juggled the voting figures, it’s a wonder he never considered the roll of shadow chancellor.
Julian Brown, however, was moved to accuse two of the nicest parties, according to their PR, of treachery – but don’t we all love a gracious loser. He did, however, share his undoubted gift of the clairvoyant in predicting our newly elected MP’s plans for the future – perhaps he should broaden his talents for mind reading, and try the international stage.
Finally, the comments of Dr Richard House implying that the electorate had made a pact with the devil was rather strong and can only be attributed to the frustration he feels that no one but close family believes in his blue skies policy rather than the reality of the real world.
