CONGRATULATIONS and thank you to everyone involved in Turning Stonehouse Pink, the Arts Festival and Stonehouse in Bloom.
The town looked glorious with fantastic displays of flowers throughout the town, the art displays, particularly on the Memorial Green very striking and the pink ‘stuff’ adorning trees, window displays and many other places certainly spread the Breast Cancer awareness message.
This is the first year Stonehouse has participated in the celebration of plant life and flowers that is the “In Bloom’ movement.
Many people joined in to make it such a success but particular thanks should go to Gary Powell and Dairy Crest who cajoled employees from their various depots to come and help.
The whole effect on the town was a transformation.
Very many thanks to everyone for your commitment to Stonehouse.
