Lorry park would be a better idea
INSTEAD of filling the area around Junction 13 with more offices, leisure facilities and the resulting traffic jams, why don't Dale Vince and Stroud District Council set up a lorry park on the site?
Residents on the A38 would be greatly relieved not to have HGVs parked in every layby every weekday night, with the drivers leaving their organic and inorganic rubbish behind and firing up their engines very early in the morning.
The drivers would surely welcome showers, proper catering and toilet facilities and the option of a proper bed, and their cargoes would be more secure.
Come on Mr Vince, be a local benefactor.
