THERE was a time when I would have thought that Cllr John Marjoram, despite his unfortunate political persuasion, might be relied upon to show a little care in his reporting, lest he cause distress among the aged and those of a nervous disposition.
I am not so sure now, having read, in his letter of July 29 to your esteemed organ: “...As an example, [a] Radio 4 morning programme had two speakers damming Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership attempt…”
So, are we now to be flooded and is such a catastrophe to be blamed – not only, as expected, by the Tories – but also by their Green fellow-travellers?
Like the old sock that I rather resemble these days, darned if I know.
