IN response to Francis Ray’s request for assistance to identify his moth caterpillar in this a recent edition of the SNJ, I believe he has photographed the common vapourer.
Confirmation may be obtained from the county moth recorder, whose details are available from the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
