HOW lovely Stonehouse town looked in the ‘summer,’ with the pink ribbons on the trees, the Horse-trough roundabout, too with its beautiful flowers and ribbons.

Hanging baskets superb, too. As always, the Post Office looked great and outside The High Street Medical Centre, with its glorious plants, brought many a smile too.

How ‘friendly,’ too, is Stonehouse.

I went to get a haircut early one Saturday afternoon.

Some were open but turned us away, some closed.

However, walking to the end of Stonehouse, we found Sysum’s Barbers.

Never been there before, but they welcomed us: if we wanted to wait, we could get hair cut.

It was such a friendly, welcoming barbers and I ended up with a great cut.

I have since been to Stroud and experienced the same.

Thank you Sysum’s and well done for a great service and haircut in Stonehouse and Stroud.
