THE family of Sheila Maddock would like to thank all those who added to the celebration of Sheila’s life by sending letters and cards, writing in the paper, joining in the service and tea, supporting by talking to us and by prayer and thoughts and by contributing donations to the charities.
We have truly appreciated it.
As it says in this a quote by the ancient Greek Pericles, which we found in her collection: “What we leave behind is not what is engraved in stone memorials but what is woven into the lives of others.”
Many people have told us that they feel and see the results of Sheila’s involvement in the lives of people, organisations and issues of the Stroud area.
A living legacy which we are inspired by.
