ON the article about Egyptian-born John Bonello, who recalled how he and his family were made welcome in Stonehouse after being forced to flee their home country during the Suez crisis.

Someone who is risking their lives to keep their families out of harms way should be given all the help whichever deity you believe in.

John is just one example of the many, many people England has helped over the years, and look at how much he gave back to the community! You never know when you save someone, they just may be the person who cures cancer.

On Jeremy Corbyn’s election as leader of the Labour Party.

Posted by Robert Sinfield: This is fabulous news! Who could possibly have imagined that after the gem of an open goal that was Ed Miliband, that Labour would actually be able to find and then elect somebody even WORSE?

Watching Corbyn’s baying supporters (one was actually wearing a hammer and sickle t-shirt) was like being transported back to the politics of the 1970s.

The intelligent people in Labour (there are one or two believe it or not) realise that at the weekend they lost the next general election and quite possibly the one after that too. Jeremy, his far-left cronies and his union paymasters will keep his party out of Number 10 for years to come.

As I said, fabulous news, thanks Comrade Corbyn!

Posted by CharlieTheWhiteVanMan: I’m not a member of the Labour Party, just an ordinary Labour voter who’s voted for the party at every general election since the 1970s. Should Corbyn still be leader, I won’t be voting Labour in 2020.

Posted by jamg3916: I just wonder what folk want or expect when they vote Labour...it is founded on socialist principles.
