Reader's Letter: Restore support for renewables
I ENTIRELY agree with Neil Carmichael that the deal struck in Paris is a great step forward (SNJ December 30).
As he says, now we must make sure that the deal is fully implemented.
Exactly so – I hope that means that the government that he supports restores support for renewables, particularly solar, and reverses its policy on fracking, which is exploitation of a fossil fuel.
Failure to do so would reveal the Government’s hypocrisy.
I’m not holding my breath.
