APROPOS the marching group of Stroud against the wanton killing by troops in Islamic State (IS)IS lands not being a solution for callous uprisings, it is nevertheless wise to fight in defence of our principles.

The outrageous use of innocents by the leading factions of ISIS, and the killing and torturing of their own people must be routed, else infidels will seize all the rights of life.

It would be more sensible for this group to march instead for the cause of the government’s Prevent programme.

A Council of Mosques has announced a boycott of Prevent, and denounced it as "spying on their young people".

But their young are being brainwashed.

Young girls have been lured away from Britain to become the slaves of the men of ISIS.

Young males have been lured into the conflict.

The legality of the investigations by Prevent is a real need.

Prevent may have been mistaken in its accusations of some individual Muslims, and dead are denied the right of defence.
