A REFERENDUM is a request for advice not an election.
The decision still remains on the table until parliament votes on it.
Theresa May does not have a mandate.
I was interested that during her praise of David Cameron she mentioned all the good things he had achieved and that every one had been proposed by the Liberal Democrats during the Coalition.
It only started to go wrong when the Tories tried to govern alone!
If Theresa May is genuine in her wish for a united Britain she should introduce proportional representation and then call a ‘fair’ general election.
