THIS is an open letter to say thank you to our local district and town councillor, Haydn Sutton. Haydn recently joined our newly formed, residents group in Stratford Road, Stroud to listen to us, advise and support us in our campaign to secure measures to control the speed of traffic and protect the safety of residents, pedestrians and motorists that use this very busy and dangerous road.
Not only this, but as part of our campaign to make the narrow paths safer for pedestrians, Haydn gave up his Sunday morning, free of charge, to help my husband cut back the trees and hedges outside some residents’ homes. Haydn is a good example of a councillor that is totally dedicated and serves his community and Haydn shows us what we can achieve when we all work together in Stroud.
Once again, I am proud to be Stroud.
