BEFORE the coming of Saint Corbyn our good Dr House must have led a very empty and aimless existence.

It has not gone unnoticed that since the arrival of this latest deity, ref letter (SNJ, October 26) his correspondence has taken on the shine of a young man’s first love, his latest diatribe has the ring of sycophantic indulgence fulfilling the complete meaning of the word.

As for Jeremy it cannot be denied that he has drummed up a devoted following, creating an illusion of ethics and honesty but can this be said of his closest disciples and followers?

With good luck we will not have to find out the hard way.

Once more the cry for proportional representation concludes the Dr’s valentine, it should be patently clear by now to minority groups that only they and their close relatives wish to change the existing system.

For all its faults and shortcomings the system we have, as served the country well for many years and hopefully will continue to do so for many more.
